What if scouting tools actually learned from the people using them?
What if technology could support instinct and
not replace it?
We built AIDAR to find out
We're Janek and Caspar.
Janek holds a PhD in music data research. Caspar's background is in product and business. Neither of us grew up in A&R — which meant we arrived without inherited assumptions, and with a conviction that talent discovery could work better.
So we did the work.
Over the past three years we talked to more than 100 A&Rs, scouts, label managers, publishers, and booking agents across Europe and North America. We built early versions, put them in front of real scouts, and refined it based on what they said mattered most.
We still don't scout artists for a living. We should leave that to people with better taste in music. But AIDAR doesn't need taste — it learns your patterns.
We haven't built this alone.
Building something new in music takes partners willing to back an idea before it's obvious.
Daniel and Merlin (earmotion) open doors we couldn't on our own. Jakob and Taj (Amplitude Ventures) bring the technical depth and fundraising experience that keep us moving. Music Tech Europe Academy put us in front of mentors who challenged everything — our thinking, our product, our direction. They connected us with partners who raised the bar.
If you scout for a living, we'd like to show you what we've built.
